TECNO Mobile Kenya launches Boom J8

Last week Tecno Mobile launched the Tecno Boom J8, an addition to its Boom series that was introduced in the Kenyan market in 2015.

The Tecno Boom J8 is the first smartphone to run the new Hi Operating System and comes with a bluetooth speaker, giving users convenience when listening to music or watching videos. It is also Tecno’s first smartphone to launch in 2016 and will retail at Sh16,999.

During the launch party, fans got a Sh3,900 Bluetooth speaker for free for every purchase of the new device. In addition, fans who purchased the phone on the day got a Sh500 refund from the mobile phone manufacturer.

TECNO debuted the Boom Series in 2015 through the launch of the Boom J7. The TECNO Boom J7 has exquisite design and was the first music centric smartphone to launch in Kenya.

TECNO’s foray into the Kenyan market has been successful so far and the TECNO Boom J8 is largely expected to be the most popular smartphone that has recently launched.

The new TECNO Boom J8 smart phone is an upgrade of its predecessor. It boasts of a 13MP auto-focus rear/ 5.0MP front cameras with an LED flash, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, a super-slim profile, a 5.5” HD IPS touch screen, a massive 3000mAh battery and is 4G compatible.
